Goodmorning! Well this is my final post as Guest Designer for Victoria Case Art Stamps!
I have had the best time!!! Thank you Victoria for having me, I appreciate everything! I have had so much fun playing with these Easter Digi images and they are soooo cute. These are for my two grandbabies, Ethan and Reese. I colored both images with my prisma's and googone. Cut them out and attached them to my Easter box. This box is so much fun. You can find the tutorial for it at ScorPals official site. It might look complicated but actually its not, very easy to do, just a lot of little work! I used my square nesties on the window and used acetate for the window. I keep all my acetate pieces and wow do they come in handy when you need them for something like this! The hardest part for me was the handle! Beleive it or not, I did not have one piece of 12x12 white cs! I had to piece it together! The handle is attached to the box itself with brads, so you can carry it. The lid is removable.
If you haven't been to Victoria's store, Please stop in and check out her great designs! She has rubber and digi images! And they are all AWESOME! I have both, digi and rubber and can't say enough good things about them.
Thank you so much Victoria for the great time I have had being your Easter GDT!

Dotties World...

I love Madison and Holly digi stamps from Dotties World. A good friend of mine bought me the digi set for my birthday a while back. Last night, hubby, gone for the evening, dogs tucked in, me...watching chick flicks sat on the couch and colored. Then started sewing on my cs. Then started putting it all together. I love this image of Holly, she just looks like she had to take a quick trip to the store! Paper is from my stash and the ribbon is yarn ribbon that I found at the $ store a couple of weeks ago. The big yellow eyelet is from Loreen at WishonaScrap and are by WeRMK. Up in the left corner I made this great flower, well I thought it was great! LOL I punched a flower from my SU punch, then I had these heart paper clips and they fit on each petal perfect to take the round shape. Just a little added weight to the card! LOL So this is my chick flick card!

Thanks for Stopping by and hope all my UK friends have a very Happy Mums Day!!

Thats it for today, and maybe tomorrow! I tried coloring today and just can't color today!

These wonderful flowers were a very nice surprise gift to me from my friend Jacque! And they are lovely! I inked the sides of the image with TH distressed inks. The sentiment is from StudioG. Everything else, stash!

Keep Your Neck Covered!

This little cutie was in my folder the other day. Its like opening a Chirstmas package every time I go in there! This is Keep Your Neck Covered by Squigglefly. What a cutie he is. He just looks so happy! I have a hard time with coloring animals! Probably because I haven't done many. But I had fun with him! He is colored with my Prismas and googone. I added a little silver to the swirls and found my paper in my bits and pieces stash that I thought was perfect for him! I printed him out around 4 inches on white cs. I took my SU chalks and lightly brushed the background of him so he wouldn't be quit so white! This is going in my birthday card box! Great card for a little one!

Who's on the phone?

I have to say, I had a great time making this card! This cute image is from Squigglefly, called Phone Call. Look at those cheeks! Kissable!!! I love homemade bellies, no matter if I have to tear a shirt apart for the buttons! Which I have done! I've ruined a few things because I've needed them for a "project"! This little guy was colored with my Prisma's and googone. I'm working on my shading! I'm trying to make it from the side and not dead center. I have a ways to go! The alphabet squares on this card are cut from this awesome DP I have. I made the block in the center. LOL, I know, but I tried! Hubby kept saying... no, thats not right, so finally after 2 hours, it took on a shape to almost look like a block! I cut the truck out of Sizzix die and the "t" is from a mish mash of letters I have in my stash. Took my buttons and tied a little bit of carpet thread to them, and his phone cord is also carpet thread.

I just love this little guy! Make sure you stop over to Squigglefly and check out there great digi download images! You won't be sorry!! They are so cute! There are some new ones there!!

Thanks for stopping by and hope everyone is having a great week!

1st Inky Impressions Design Team Call

Nicole is starting a brand spankin new line of Rubber Stamps called Inky Impressions. And are they CUTE! I've had the privilege to chat with Nicole a few times and she is super excited for her dream to become a reality! Well its almost here Nicole! She is looking for, coloring techniques, color match skills and thinking outside the box.
I picked my new Tilda by Magnolia Stamps. I love this shy Tilda! I made this card/book for my mom! She is my knot that holds my thread together!
My other card is by hAnglar&stAnglar. I love his truck! This is going to my grandson that has spent many hours in hospitals having tests.
Both images were colored with my Prisma's. I love my prisma's and am finding different texture effects! Did you know if you color and blend on a wood surface you get a total differnt look than if you did it on a smooth surface!! LOL Crazy I know!
The Tilda card/book has a pocket, that you can't see to well, on the inside of the card. That is where I will put a little gift card for her. The locket has a story. It was my moms when she was a girl, and then it was given to me. We pass it back and forth for a signal of love. Its her turn! The card also has a hidden pocket with two pull out tags. I had so much fun making these cards!
Well.... wish me luck, cuz here goesssssssssssssss!

Disheveled Princess!

I LOVE this image!! This is Disheveled Princess from Squigglefly. I just think she is awesome!
I colored her with my Prismas and she is POPPY!! not orange! LOL I loved the Poppy and black together. I made another one, down my blog, but being a digi image, she is offered facing the other way! All paper was generated on my puter, except for the gray band at the bottom. Flower from Prima and I just cut some ribbon to add around the flower.
If you haven't been over to SquiggleFly, make sure you stop over and check out the great digi images they have! They have some new ones and I think I have to go shopping!
On my side bar, you can link on the DT blogs and take a look at what we are playing with and give them some "heart" while your there!
Thanks for stopping by, Its Monday!

Easter Basket

This is one of Victoria Case Art Design Digi stamps. This basket is so detailed and so much fun to color! I wanted it nice and bright and used copics on the basket. I wanted the more vintage look and had to dig deep! I used my paper dolies and used the stiple brush with chalk to color it yellow. My corners are 2x2 and cut at an angle with my MS border punch. The yellow DP with Easter Eggs is not DP at all! Its tissue paper. I found it in my "holiday" drawer all nice and folded up! So to get the wrinkles out, I found my iron and ironed it! Worked perfect. Wrapped the background cs like a package and I had my background.
I had so much fun with this card!
Make sure you stop over at Victoria's and check out her great rubber and digi stamps!
She has a couple of new Dragons over there that are soooo cute!!
Thanks for stopping and hope everyone had a great day!

Lets Dance

BRIGHT!! I made this card for a friend, who needed it for a gift. She wanted it bright, flowers, and glitter and dance! This is what I came up with and she LOVED it!
The image is an old one by Suzy Toronto and her Wonderful Whacky Women. I LOVE her stamps! They are fun and you can't help but color them bright! I used about every medium I have in my stash, from copics, prisma's, gel pens, and SU markers.
The rest is just stash stuff!
Sorry the pic is so bad. Its to cold to go outside and snap it, so tried to find the sun in my house!
Thanks for stopping by and hope everyone has a great weekend!

IceCream Social!

When I saw this little Ice Cream gal from SquiggleFly I had a good idea what I wanted to do with her. Such a cute summer invite for Ice Cream! I made the criss cross card the opposite way, I need the length for the image. I love criss cross cards and this one worked out just perfect for the invite!! I did both side of the insert, one with her on it and the back, as you can see, with info deets.
I'm sorry this has to be fast. I have chicken pox and I am really itching bad and UGGGG, this is worse than miserable. Its called something different when you OLD, but I really like saying chicken pox because it makes me feel much younger!

My new stamp!

I ordered a couple of new stamps from Hero Arts. I love their stamps and have quit a few, but they're the older ones, not many new ones. I've always loved this tree. I love how simple it is. All I had to do is stamp the image! The rest was brain work!
The blue cs (Michaels) is left overs from my daughters STD and Wedding Invites. I have a folder of bits and pieces. I used my nesties for the ovals and scalloped oval. CB folder, swiss dots. Stamped the tree with SU Close to Cocoa. Added a few rhinestones to the tree for some "bling". Ribbon is also from the invites, bought at Michaels. And my new Branch punch from MS.

Pixie

Ahhhh, Isn't she precious! Look at her sweet face! This digi image is by SquiggleFly. I fell in love with her the minute I saw her! Of course she has a hat on! I printed her at 3.5 inches. I usually do 3.5 or 4 inch images. Most of my cards are 5.5x5.5. Leaves some bling room for flowers and ribbon!

Squiggle Fly's Little Diva

Now how sassy can anyone look? This Little Diva has pulled it off quit well! Isn't she cute standing there with her hands on her hip! This cute image is from Suigglefly. As you all know, I LOVE digi downloads! Not that I don't like my rubber, but digis are fast and they print "spot on" every time!
I made this card for Mariah, my 7 year old granddaughter. We had this big discussion one time when she stayed over night about style! Gramma here, just didn't "have it"! She told me that green and browns were her favorite colors right now for cloths. So if I wanted to buy her anything.... (snicker) those are the colors she would prefer! I asked her.. Mariah if I just sent you money, and you SAVED it, when you had enough, could you and I go shopping together? YES!! So this is how the money got in the little card pocket there!

Tilda in Hat

This is one of the new Tilda's I just recieved from Magnolia-licious! Isn't she a doll! I love her in that Hat! I have a thing for hats! She was one of those "gotta haves" the minute I saw her! This card took me forever! I worked on it for 3 days! Finally got it to where it was I had pictured in my head! I won't tell you how much paper I wasted! It was BAD! Then when I went to take pics, they turned out awful! Kept getting shadows. I bet I took 25 pics of this card. Finally I settled on a couple.
Thanks again for stopping by,

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out Victoria Case Art Design store for rubber and digi images! They will knock your "socks" off!

Tattered Tilda

Isn't she tattered looking! I was playing and ended up liking her look! She looks muddy and faded! I think this is one of the first Tilda's I bought and I still think she is one of the cutest! Check out that bow on her hat! Her hat is almost as cool as Aretha Franklin's hat at the Inauguration! I really don't think anyone could ever beat Aretha's hat! AWESOME!!
Nothing new in the ingredients, all from stash and bits and pieces! I did add a little dingle beary of beads hanging by the flower.
This card took me about 1/2 hour to throw together!
Hope everyone had a great weekend.
