Madison! aka Mary Poppins to me!

Sorry its so long inbetween posts.. my daughter and soon to be hubby just bought a house and I've been helping them, and the wedding is only 2 months away!! Busy time and I'm loving it! But inbetween HELP ME MOM calls, i have gotten a few cards done! I've had these colored for about a month, just haven't gotten them finished! These are from DW and were gifts to me from my good friend. {{{THANK YOU!!!}}} I love these images!! I love alot of images! LOL!!
This is from the Holly & Madison World Tour and this is Holly In England. Okay, now, dosen't she look just like Mary Poppins?? That is my most FAVORITE MOVIE EVER! I can even say
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious backwards! I have the movie and watch it ALOT!
Holly, aka Mary Poppins, was colored with my Prisma's and copics. I had this background made up for another card at one time, and did some altering on it and I think it turned out perfect for her. The sentiment of course was generated on the puter. I added the brads and flowers are by Prima. I think she looks real good in brown but then, she looks good in red too! See below...

Holly, Mary...in Red

Ahhh, here she is in red! I didn't add much bling to this one, well i did, but its hard to see. I used my MS branch punch and highlited the ends of the branches with my silver glitter pen and added dots to the swirls. It really is sharp looking IRL!!! I might add a sentiment to the side if I can figure out some little blurp for it. I think she is Practically Perfect in everyway!!
Can you tell I love Mary Poppins! LOL

Dotties World...

I love Madison and Holly digi stamps from Dotties World. A good friend of mine bought me the digi set for my birthday a while back. Last night, hubby, gone for the evening, dogs tucked in, me...watching chick flicks sat on the couch and colored. Then started sewing on my cs. Then started putting it all together. I love this image of Holly, she just looks like she had to take a quick trip to the store! Paper is from my stash and the ribbon is yarn ribbon that I found at the $ store a couple of weeks ago. The big yellow eyelet is from Loreen at WishonaScrap and are by WeRMK. Up in the left corner I made this great flower, well I thought it was great! LOL I punched a flower from my SU punch, then I had these heart paper clips and they fit on each petal perfect to take the round shape. Just a little added weight to the card! LOL So this is my chick flick card!

Distessed #3

Okay I am totally stressed now from distressing! I have to quit for awhile! LOL
I ripped this card apart. It looked so good in my head, wish you could of seen it! But once on paper, ummmm, just not happy with it. Then I took a pic of it and it looked even worse. So I decided to fix it up some. The {} in the back was made in my graphics. I got this printed before the blow up. Nesite for the oval. I have this great stencil and I used it on my oval. Its for paper piercing but I used one ply of DMC and a quilting needle to stitch the flower. Took me a long time to thread that needle! DMC floss was used for the stitching. Flower again, made with my SU flower punch, my now best friend! Swirls from my EKSuccess punch. The upper right corner i took a 2x2 piece of cs and folded it down to look like a flap i guess. Used my brads and this is the part I ripped apart! I added that border to it. Then i had printed off a long time ago, little library cards. I stressed that up and put it in the little pocket there.
Gee when I write it all out, doesn't sound like a lot of work! LOL
