Cd Box

The other day I was in Kmart walking the school supply isles. I ran across these cd boxes, only the front was covered in hot pink! The rest was just cardboard. The minute I saw them I knew that I could play with those! I bought one on clearance for $3!! I needed something to store my Victoria Case rubber stamps in! I store them in cd cases but wanted them all together and this was perfect! I printed off the digi image, "Thinking of You" by VCAD and sized her to fit on the front. Then I had my BoBunny pink polka-dot paper and thought that would work great. So after measuring for what seemed like HOURS, went to work covering the outside of the box. I used MS Lace punch for the sides, that is where the seam came, and ran a thin strip of ribbon to cover up the seam. My nesties to cut out the scallop on the front, and puter to generate the VCAD for the little file pocket. Punched a couple of holes in the scallops and used the same ribbon to tie the knots. This was so much fun to do! It actually went pretty fast once I got the measurements worked out! And glad to say....Nothing wasted! So now this will go on my shelf and all my VCAD rubber stamps are in one place!
