Its a Tilda...

This is Dalecarlia Tilda. One of of my favorite Tilda's. I know, you are probably totally sick of looking at these box cards, but I love making them! This one is a triple decker! Again I used matchbook boxes. I'm not kidding, I have a fruit jar filled with stick matches! I used the same method covering the boxes, but I did add brown ribbon to where they were to match up, only because not all match boxes are the same! I ran TH distressed inks around the edges. I lined the drawers and made 24 beaded knobs. I also added a little bling to the right side of the drawers.
Taped these down and went to work on the top. I didn't make this one into a card. I colored Tilda with my copics and Prisma's. I used my oval nesties and added beads to the oval and the scalloped oval. Flowers are again punched out of my SU punch and I added beads to the flowers also, I colored my center pearls with my copics. Leaves are from MS leaf punch. I used my MS border punch for the strip that runs on the left side, that you can barely see! Also used my Sizzix corner die. Added ribbon, some dangly beads and the stick pin. My beads are from my bead stash. The DP is from My Minds Eye, Laundry Line. I LOVE this paper and I'm almost out!
I also made the amulet bag. The ingredients are...beads, Kevlar thread, needle and magnifying glasses! LOL This will M's. She saw it the other day and loved it. I have a few mementos that I will put in the drawers for her.
Thanks for stopping by!

  12. Very elegant Deb. I did a box like that last year and swing Tilda was the main theme I used too. It was my first Tilda stamp I bought and the first advent box I made. They are time consuming, but a very fun project to do. I acn see that you had a lot of fun doing that! Thanks for sharing.
