The Bride

Well life is back to my normal! I can't believe what a whirlwind it has been, but a fun one!

Now its time to start playing again and get caught up on everything I have missed.

This is the Bride and her bouquet. Her bouquet was so pretty! This is my favorite picture of my daughter.

Now, I'm off to play!

The Bride & Groom

Well how can you be so busy for so long and then BAM...its over! It turned out wonderful!

The day couldn't of been more perfect! Sun was shining, just a nice breeze and big white fluffy clouds! The Bride and Groom smiled non stop!

Its was so much fun and the wedding was gorgeous. A few minor mishaps but nothing that anyone would notice. It was truely a awesome day for everyone!

Here is a pic of the Emily and Alex (my new son-in-law!!) and the girls. The guys had already left by the time I got outside to snap a few pics! The little one in the middle is Mariah, my granddaughter. She had a great time!
I'll be back soon!
Thanks for stopping by!

Blowing Kisses

I had time yesterday to work on a card! This is Melinda Blowing Kisses by WOJ. I've had this stamp and inked it up about a week ago and colored her. I love to sit in the evenings and watch tv and color! I made this for Mariah, my granddaughter who is in my daughters wedding as the Jr. Bridesmaid. Mariah is my biggest fan and no matter what gramma does, she loves it! When I talked to her last week at her first fitting for her dress, I asked her what her favorite color was, it changes weekly! Last week it was pink. So pink it was! She loves sparkles, like any 7 year old and so I glittered it up a bit.

The DP is by BoBunny, Tutu Dot and My Minds Eye, Penny Lane. The rhinestones on her necklace and bracelet are nail art! I picked these up a long time ago and they work perfect for cards! I made the jeweled stick pin from beads I have from my beading days. My pearls are from Kaiser and they were white, I used my copics and colored them pink. I used my EK Success punches.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

Chooo Choooo!!

Have you ever been putting together a card and didn't want to finish! That was this one. I had so much fun putting this together! I just wanted it to go on and on! I've been playing with it for about 3 days now. This is one of my favorite Edwins! He is so cute sitting there in that hat! My Edwin stamps get ignored a lot of the time!
I colored him with my copics. This yummy DT is by, My Minds Eye, Laundry Line Collection. Lucky me found a wonderful scrap store about 15 miles from me! They now have a new best customer! The corner and train was cut from my Sizzix. My eyelets and ribbon I had in my stash and the border and branch punch is Martha Stewart. I love the browns and greens togther.
The picture is really light and bright. I tried something new in my graphics program for lighting. Putting this image next to the orginal really shows how dreary my pics were. I'm not sure that I like this bright pic yet! But details show up much better!
Thanks for stopping! Happy Thursday!

VCAD White/Pink/Black Challenge

There is a challenge going on at VC Stamp Challenges blog! The challenge this week is to make a card with White/Pink/Black. Well that was easy! I love those colors together! I picked Enchanted. She is a digi image from VCAD! I think she is so cute! I colored her with my copics and Prisma's. Her wings are painted on with SoSoft Glitters. I used my GellyRoll Stardust pens for the sparkle on her dress. The DP is from Doodlebug. Ribbon-stash! MS border punch. The flowers are digi's from AngelsLanding. The corner is a Sizzix die.
Fun card and great digi image! Make sure you stop over to the VC Stamp blog and check out the other great cards from the DT! Also make sure you check out all the great rubber and digi's from VCAC!! They are awesome!! Watch for the new releases coming soon!
Thanks for stopping by, I'm off to work!

Magnolia-licious DT Layout Challenge #2

What can I say? The other card is BAD! The more I look at it the more I wish I would of never put it on the blog! LOL It looks so blah! So I did another one! Same Tilda as before, I never stamp just one of anything! Colored her with my copics, still need tons of practice! I used my CB folder for the paisley embossing then used my dew drop inks for the shading. My nesties for the ovals. Ribbon and buttons from my stash. MS border punch. The DP is by My Minds Eye, the Bloom & Grow collection. The sentiment is from TAC, Tag Tidbits.
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

June DT Magnolia-licious Sketch Challenge

This is my first time ever in doing a Layout Challenge for the Magnolia-licious group! I own the group! LOL Not that I haven't wanted to, just time gets away and before you know it, another month came and went! So this month, I told myself I was going to start doing them! There is a new blog for the Magnolia-licious DT layout challenge, Magnolia-licicious Highlites! Stop by and check out the great cards! This great layout is from DT member Kerry D-C.
I used New Years Tilda, I think she's cute for anytime of the year! I used copics and Prisma's to color her. All the paper is from my stash and the same with the brads. The ribbon is from JoAnn's and is spose to be for the wedding cake! LOL I bought a few extra rolls! The edging was done with MS border punch, and my oval nesties.
I had a hard time with this card. For one thing I searched the house for something round to make my 1/2 circle. Finally used a glad plastic container from the cupboard! I cut the DP 5.5x5.5 and then cut my white CS 5.5x5.5 and it looked aweful. Took a 12x12 and cut it 5.75 square and got a border, which afterwards thought WHY WHITE?? To late now. I also have the other white layer under the DP! Finally called it a card, and I was done! I might have to play with another one!
Hope everyone is having a great week!

Wedding Card, Peggy Loves Vintage

This is a Wedding image from Peggy Loves Vintage. I bought her wedding image cd and the images are vintage and awesome!! All I had to do was print and do the layout! I put no bling on this card at all and got the vintage classy look I was going for. These images print so perfect! This was printed on Bazill cardstock. Gives it that older look. Such fun images to play with!
I'm in the wedding card mode!
